Jean cloth is a wool cotton blend and then when available sometime just cotton. It is a loose weave to work with and likes to shred. When putting the garment together we do our best to make sure that it will stay together since playing soldier is hard wear and tear on the clothing. Whether the items purchased are made of jean cloth or 21oz wool, we suggest, as does the manufacturer, that these pieces of clothing be dry cleaned so that they last a long time and do not shrink.
